Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Little Chapters account and the information that goes with it at any time.

In the app

Open the Family tab, tap the gear for Settings, then Delete account. Your account is deleted straight away, and its files leave our storage within a day.

Without the app

Email [CONTACT_EMAIL] from the Google account you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”.
We'll confirm, and delete your account within 30 days.

What's deleted

Your account: your name, email address and profile picture.
What you added: quotes, letters, voice recordings, photos and videos, including anything you sealed in a capsule.
If you're the family's last parent: the whole family, its children's information, its occasions, capsules and guest messages.

Backups age out within a further 30 days. If you'd like to keep your memories, ask us for a copy first.

Removing a guest message

Left a message at a party and want it removed? Email [CONTACT_EMAIL] with your name and the occasion.
